The Certified Medication Aide Training Program is Approved by the Ohio Board of Nursing and is a 30-hour course completed 100% in-person. Students can graduate and obtain their course certification in less than 2 weeks. This course consists of 14 hours of didactic studies and hands-on laboratory skills and 16 hours of hands-on clinical experiences. Long-term care facilities are utilized for the clinical component. Students are eligible to sit for the Ohio CMA Exam after successful completion of this course.
